Summer School of the Information Center on NATO and EU

Information Center on NATO and EU calls bachelor and master degree students as well as high school students for participation at Information Center Summer School.


The Summer School intends to inform the youth on current issues on NATO and EU integration and to facilitate their engagement in the process of Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.  


The Summer School educational program covers the following topics: Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration; North Atlantic Alliance, NATO history, NATO-Georgia relationships, participation of Georgia in international peacekeeping missions, EU history, Georgia-EU relationships, implementation of the Association Agreement, Visa Liberalization, myths about the European Union and so forth. 


During the Summer School the students will have the possibility to meet with the State officials, executives of LEPL Information Center on NATO and EU and invited experts.   


Eligibility Requirements:

Interested candidates shall be bachelor or master degree students in one of the following fields: International Relations, Social and Political Sciences, Law, Humanitarian and Economic studies.  High school students should be on 9-12 grades at school. 


English language proficiency is preferred. The candidates shall prove their professional interests and aspirations relevant to the Summer School program.


The lectures will be delivered in Georgian language. After completion of Summer School course, the participants will be awarded with certificates. The most successful participants will be offered practicum placements at the Information Center on NATO and EU.
