One of the basic aims of the Association between EU and Georgia is creation of a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA). DCFTA offers partners a wide liberalization on goods and services with practically full elimination of tariff barriers, e.i. customs duties on imported goods. Minimization of non-tariff barriers is also achieved by practical elimination of quotas and licenses, minimization of anti-dumping and countervailing measures, simplification of customs procedures, etc.
