According to the survey of the United States National-Democratic Institute (NDI), the number of respondents, who support Georgia’s NATO membership, has increased compared to the NDI previous survey. 


The NATO Heads of State and Government and Georgia, met in Brussels today to discuss security, defence reform, and cooperation.

NATO vessels visit Batumi. This morning vessels from Standing NATO Mine Countermeasures Group 2 (SNMCMG2) arrived in Batumi for a scheduled port visit as part of the group’s deployment in the Black Sea. The visit is yet another demonstration of NATO's long-standing commitment to Georgia.



“Charley” Company of the12th Light Infantry Battalion of I Infantry Brigade of East Command of Land Forces accomplished SEL-2 in the framework of OCC E&FP. Today, an official document testifying to the successful accomplishment of SEL-2 by the Company personnel was concluded.


Montenegro became NATO’s newest member on Monday (5 June 2017), upon depositing its instrument of accession to the North Atlantic Treaty with the US State Department in Washington DC.
