On 3-7 February, group of 20 teachers and principals from public schools in Pankisi Gorge will participate in study visit to Belgium, Brussels. In frames of the visit, meetings will be held in EU structures and in NATO HQ.
Teachers will be informed about working principles of the EU and NATO structures as well as Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Meetings will be also organized in educational institutions for informing teachers on local education system and for sharing European experience in this regard. Goal of the study visit is to raise awareness of the participants on Europe.
In frames of the first part of the project, teachers participated in training-seminar aiming at raising awareness on the history of the EU as well as Georgia's cooperation with the European Union and NATO.
Project is implemented by the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and LEPL Information Center on NATO and EU with support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
