The cycle of certified “Engage Academy” webinars on NATO with the participation of students from various universities across Georgia continues

The Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, Rosaria Puglisi and Director of the Department of NATO Integration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Tornike Parulava were invited to introduce Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration process, prospects and challenges, mechanisms of NATO-Georgia cooperation and NATO’s Strategy in the Context of Black Sea Regional Security.   
In their statements speakers spoke about NATO’s peacekeeping missions and operations and in this regard underlined Georgia’s active involvement in NATO led missions and valuable contribution to International security.   

The meeting took place with the participation of around 200 students and was moderated by the Director of Information Center on NATO and EU, Tamara Tsuleiskiri. 

The full, certified course about NATO issues consists of five webinars and enables students throughout Georgia to gain a historical overview of the founding of NATO, and learn more about the aims and goals of the Alliance. Together with invited experts, discussions will be held on the dynamics of NATO-Georgia cooperation, its future prospects and methods for fighting against Anti-Western propaganda. 
The event is organized within the frames of the “Increasing Regional Outreach and Engagement over Western Integration” project, which was granted from the United States Department of State and implemented by the Information Center on NATO and EU together with the U.S. Embassy to Georgia.
