NATO Military Committee is paying an official two-day visit to Georgia. Chairman of MC, General Petr Pavel is leading the senior NATO Military Representatives. Chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces Brigadier General Vladimer Chachibaia greeted the NATO delegation in Tbilisi International Airport.

"I am concerned by the announced closure of two crossing points along the administrative boundary line of the Abkhazia region of Georgia. Closing these crossing points, which are used daily by hundreds of citizens, will have a negative impact on the situation on the ground and stability in the region.
