The second visit of the North-Atlantic Council to Georgia was held on 9-10 November 2011. The meeting of the NATO-Georgia Commission adopted a joint statement.
North Atlantic Council held its first visit to Georgia on 15-16 September 2008. In the framework of the visit, the frame document establishing the NATO-Georgia Commission was signed, and the first meeting of the Commission was held.
On 2-3 April, 2008 NATO Summit was held in Bucharest, Romania. On 3 April, following the Summit, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Bakradze held a briefing for Georgian and foreign journalists at the Parliament’s media center.
